Role Summary
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated individual to make an impact, with demonstrated success with establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and peers. The right candidate will be skilled at time management and managing customer expectations, along with being focused on adding value to all interactions with our customers. This position requires strong customer relationship-building talent, analytical and technical aptitude, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a pleasant and professional demeanor as well as the ability to handle multiple, competing deadlines under pressure. The Customer Care Representative will work closely with both our Client Engagement Specialists and Technical Services Team, being agile and flexible in our fast-paced environment, fielding customer inquiries directly, while also collaborating with other team members to provide the consistent, excellent service that has been our keystone for over 30 years.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for processing customer trouble calls, billing inquiries, service questions; follow progress on resolution of technical troubles and ongoing update communications to customers
- Support Client Engagement Specialist team to resolve all customer issues and trouble calls quickly, completely, and efficiently
- Support, train and empower customers on navigating our services and call analytics system
- Adapt to the changing needs of our customers
- Update and maintain internal customer databases
- Work well in a team environment
- Overtime may be required to meet fluctuations in workloads or staffing requirements
Employment Standards
- College education required
- Three to Five years of customer service or general office experience highly desirable
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Professional phone manner
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- High competency using CRM, ideally Salesforce

The Information Services team builds and implements our leading speech analytics and automated call scoring solutions designed to uncover business insights from our clients’ recorded agent-customer conversations. The insights derived through working with CallFinder can improve agent performance, agent training effectiveness, and the overall customer experience.
Role Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Junior Software Engineer participates in the development and maintenance of our CallFinder Software as a Service solution utilizing the latest Machine Learning and AI technologies. This includes participating in product design, implementation of new components, modifying existing components, as well as ongoing support and maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Application Development: Research and participate in the development of Functional and Technical specifications, provide User Interface prototypes. Develop, test, and roll out new web-based applications and enhancements to existing applications, for both customer use and internal use. Follow best practices for source code versioning and management; generate and maintain technical documentation.
- Service Provisioning: Provision, maintain and trouble-shoot client integrations into the CallFinder application via API services, file transfers, custom vendor modules, etc. This role may also include working with the sales and operations departments to structure integration plans and/or projects.
- Application & Service Support: Respond to customer- and internally generated service issues; follow department guidelines for reporting and escalation intervals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Current or soon to be Computer Science and/or Data Analytics graduate and/or 2-3 years of experience
- Experience with Machine Learning and AI Tools
- Experience with Python and/or PHP
- Strong understanding of both relational and object-orientated databases (MySQL & MongoDB) Strong understanding of Linux based operating systems (Centos and/or Ubuntu)

Role Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Solution Sales Senior Account Executive will prospect for new opportunities, applying a hunter mentality with a strategic, solution-selling approach. This requires needs-based, relationship sales to a diverse spectrum of industries and channel partners, across a mix of Director, VP, SVP, and C-level execs; the breadth of our offering enables multiple engagement points across an organization including stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service, as well as across myriad industry segments. The Senior Account Executive full cycle sales role requires the capacity to work independently, with strong critical thinking skills, initiative, and drive. We are open to a remote-based arrangement for the right candidate.
Essential Functions:
- Create and advance sales funnel opportunities with outbound telephone and email prospecting and qualification, demos, and quotes, focusing on closure of new customer subscriptions. Utilize social media tools (primarily LinkedIn) to enhance prospecting cadence and outreach. Follow up with assigned leads within the integrated campaign programs, following the multi-contact approach.
- Schedule consultative calls to determine pain points and present the most appropriate, impactful solution. Lead and control the sales narrative during product demos, with a needs-assessment approach. Coordinate and collaborate as needed with the Director of Sales and Director of Operations to support sophisticated prospect needs. Develop and share meeting agendas in advance of scheduled demos with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, ensuring optimal communications.
- Maintain competitive product knowledge to offer creative solutions to customers.
- Assist Director of Sales as requested and needed to guide other Account Managers with pricing questions, product capabilities, serving as a mentor and knowledge resource.
- Maintain and grow referral partner relationships.
- Collaborate with Client Engagement and Marketing teams, sharing information gained through prospecting efforts, to include, but not limited to industry pain points, relevant language, competitive/pricing intel, feature/capability requests, and potential new vertical industries for exploration and discovery.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain a current understanding of 800response’s full suite of services and competitive products and services.
- Maintain an up-to-date Opportunity pipeline of pending sales with projected close dates and revenue estimates, utilizing the Salesforce CRM database.
- Keep accurate notes of conversations and documents by updating Salesforce appropriately.
- Travel as needed, and pre-approved by Director of Sales, up to 20%.
Employment Standards
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Eight+ years of experience in B2B Direct Sales with a proven track record of sales success, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts/markets through proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification and negotiating.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Highly motivated goal-oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – strong verbal phone communication, effective benefits-oriented presentation skills and excellent persuasion skills with persistence to overcome objections.
- A strong intuition when it comes to lead nurturing and moving prospects through the sales funnel.
- A new customer acquisition sales mindset (versus account management) with evidence of exceeding sales quotas or other aggressive business goals for several years.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-organize, multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products and a working knowledge of CRM best practices.
