Founder
Mitchell Knisbacher’s experience in telecommunications includes management of all facets of the long distance business and 800 number services. He was the founder and CEO of Long Distance North, a regional reseller that operated in northern New England until its sale in 1991 to Frontier Communications (formerly Rochester Telephone Company). Dr. Knisbacher has served as a consultant to telecommunications companies in the United States and abroad, and has made numerous appearances as an expert witness in state regulatory proceedings.
Prior to entering the telecommunications business in 1984, Dr. Knisbacher taught law for four years and practiced for five years with the federal government. His government service included a year in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, and concluded with an appointment as Assistant General Counsel of the Postal Rate Commission. Dr. Knisbacher holds a law degree from Harvard and a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Laura Noonan
Chief Revenue Officer
Since 1993, Laura has been leading the Sales and Marketing Team, as well as Corporate Communications for 800response, overseeing the organization’s customer care programs, implementing strategic sales initiatives, and overseeing the development of strategic marketing programs. Laura plays a key role in developing targeted sales plans based on company goals that will promote growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. In 2011, she played a significant role in launching CallFinder speech analytics, a dba of 800response. Laura is a key figure in product development and user interface design to meet customer needs, along with formulating the pricing strategies for both businesses. She is an integral member of the executive team, leading the strategic growth of 800response and CallFinder to meet the goals of both companies. Laura holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.

Daniel Sorrell
Chief Technology Officer
Dan Sorrell serves as the Chief Technology Officer for 800response and CallFinder, and manages all aspects of product design and development as well as the company’s technical operations. Dan has over 15 year of experience building and maintaining SaaS based solutions with a focus on data analytics. Dan has spent the last 10+ years in a leadership role; he was the lead Architect and Director of Software Development over the Wellness solution developed by Purewellness which had over 10 million eligible users when acquired by Cerner in 2013. Dan then went on to lead the Architecture and integration of the Wellness solution into Cerner’s Patient Portal. Prior to joining CallFinder, Dan was the VP of Engineering for a Consumer Health IT company in Boston, MA. Dan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Champlain College.

Since 1989, Linda has played an integral role in overseeing operational functions at 800response, including the strategic planning and implementation of operational strategies across multiple departments. She collaborates with the executive team to research, develop, implement and document operational business processes driving towards the goal of efficiency, while meeting company objectives and goals. Linda leads the Technical and Customer Service teams at 800response to implement and support call routing solutions and real-time delivery of call data for 800response customers. In 2011, CallFinder speech analytics launched as a dba of 800response with Linda leading the day-to-day operations to support strategic planning and growth of the company. In her role with 800response and CallFinder, Linda works with the Information Systems team to develop product platforms designed to meet the needs of customers. Prior to her introduction to the telecommunications field, Linda worked in Boston for a pension fund advisor investing in commercial real estate. Linda holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Vermont.

Bob Cleary
Vice President and Controller
Since 1995, Bob has supervised all positions that comprise an accounting department in his role as the VP and Controller of 800response and CallFinder (dba 800response). He guides the company’s financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures across internal departments. Bob and his team are responsible for the company’s financial statements, payroll, AR/AP, budgeting, and tax compliance in all 50 states, and manages the human resource functions of the business. Prior to joining 800response, Bob was the accountant and financial analyst with the telecommunications company, Long Distance North. His former experience as the accountant and auditor for the famous Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont gave him the foundation for his current position as Vice President and Controller at 800response. Bob holds an accounting degree from Johnson State College.

Jeanne Landau
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Jeanne started with 800response in 2004 managing the company’s Public Relations and Digital Marketing efforts. During her tenure at 800response, Jeanne has grown into the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. As VP, she leads the Marketing Department in the strategic development of Account Based Marketing and Lead Generation programs through tactical execution to support the Sales team in prospecting and revenue growth. Jeanne works with the Sales and Client Engagement teams at 800response to deliver exceptional customer experiences to every 800response client based on their unique business needs. As a member of the management team, Jeanne is responsible for delivering revenue projections and performance to Executive Management and the Board of Directors. Prior to joining 800response and CallFinder, Jeanne worked at Edelman Public Relations and Foote, Cone & Belding in New York City. Jeanne received her B.A. in Communications from Western New England University, and has an M.A. in Global Marketing Communication & Advertising from Emerson College.

Heather Barrows
Vice President of Operations
Heather joined 800response in 2000 as a member of the Customer Service Team, eventually leading that department as well as the Technical Service department. In her current role as the VP of Operations, Heather also oversees the Billing team and works closely with 800response’s telecom vendors and carriers, and related internal departments to offer support to 800response’s switching platform and billing systems. Heather’s comprehensive understanding of industry regulations and telecom platform requirements serves an important role as she oversees rigorous regression testing and documentation, while achieving department goals and ensuring that each team successfully supports our customers and their success. Heather partners closely with all teams in the organization, including the VP of Sales and Marketing, and Accounting, to ensure positive customer experiences and to develop team members’ professional skills. Heather is a member of the North American Numbering Council (NANC), and she holds a B.S in Communications from Lyndon State College.

Dana Adams
Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer
Dana joined 800response in 2005 as a web application developer, and took on the role of designing the customer-facing interface and real-time call tracking analytics platform. He has over 30 years of experience as a web developer and software engineer. Today, Dana serves as the lead software architect with a pivotal role in product design and development. In 2011, he led a team of developers to create the first iteration of CallFinder, 800response’s speech analytics and call scoring solution, and now a dba of 800response. Dana works with a team of IS professionals to address customer needs and continues to evolve 800response and CallFinder as innovative solutions in the industry. Because of his design enhancements to both solutions, Dana has been awarded a patent on technology employed by CallFinder. Prior to joining 800response and CallFinder, Dana was the Technical Director at Bluehouse, a Vermont-based web consulting agency, and the Creative Director at CKInteractive, a web development and marketing arm of Cramer Krasselt Advertising out of Chicago.

Matt Racine joined 800response in 2000 as a Software Architect and built the basis of the telephony platform, including integration of the telecom switch and IVRs, that 800response client call traffic transits today. Matt works with the 800response development team to recommend innovative tools, platforms, and coding standards. His key responsibilities include solving technical problems, collaborating with development and management teams, selecting the right development environment, and making sure projects are completed on time. Matt also works closely with the Accounting team and is responsible for maintaining the billing and taxing systems.
